The creative process at our atelier always begins with a single mood. This season, our focus shifts from the dense forest canopy to the serene, mirrored surface of a hidden woodland pond. The „Still Water“ collection is an exploration of transparency, fluid movement, and the quiet power of nature.
Phase 1: Botanical Research & Color Theory
The creative journey for this collection began with an immersive study of untouched woodland ecosystems. We were captivated by the silent dialogue between the resilient, deep-toned Moss Green of the earth and the fragile, fleeting Petal Pink of wild flora reflecting on still water. This isn’t just a color palette; it’s a representation of the brand’s core duality—the grounded strength of our technical construction versus the ethereal delicacy of our aesthetic.
Our design team spent time documenting the way light filters through a forest canopy, creating a natural chiaroscuro effect. We translated these observations into our „Reflection“ moodboard, selecting hues that evoke a sense of calm and mystery. By balancing these two contrasting tones, we developed a visual language that feels both organic and high-fashion. This phase was crucial in ensuring that every subsequent design choice, from thread selection to silhouette, remained faithful to the tranquil, sophisticated atmosphere of a hidden forest sanctuary.
Phase 2: Fluid Textiles
The core challenge of this collection was to find a material that could translate the fluid, ever-changing nature of water into a high-end garment. We focused on a technique called „chromatic layering.“ By placing semi-transparent Petal Pink organza over a structured Moss Green base, we created a multidimensional fabric that appears to change color as the wearer moves—much like the shifting reflections on a lake’s surface.
These textiles are not just about aesthetics; they are integrated with our signature „stretch & recovery“ technology.
